Gates shall be self-closing and at least 42 in. high. (Most Stringent)

Gates shall be provided with a combination mechanical lock and electric
contact. The locking device shall allow the gate to be opened only if the
platform is within 2 in. of the landing. (Most Stringent)

The running clearance between the platform and landing shall be not less
than 3/8 in. or more than in. (Most Stringent)

A grab rail extending the full length of either side of the platform shall be
provided at a height of 34 in. (Most Stringent)

Lift equipment pits are not required and a ramp shall be provided between
