Chapter 6: Ancillary Facilities
Design Requirements
The ADR suite must contain the following spaces:
Conference rooms
Caucusing rooms
Design criteria, including finishes, furniture, and fixtures; HVAC; lighting; and
electrical, audio, video, communications, and data transmission, must be consistent
with conference rooms in judiciary-related offices. See conference room and judiciary-
related office references in Chapters 9 and 10.
Security
A duress alarm device must be provided in the conference room and connected to the
USMS Command and Control Center.
All spaces within the ADR suite must provide acoustical confidentiality.
